Just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty. \n\n\nClass 2: Medicinal Weeds\, Herbal First Aid\, and Salve Making to add to your home apothecary  \nIn this class\, we'll go deeper into the wild weeds of the Yampa Valley\, with a focus on the ones that show up most reliably and do the most good. We'll talk about how these everyday plants can become a real part of your nutrition and self-care routine — supporting skin health\, reducing inflammation\, and adding genuine nourishment to your daily life in ways that are simple and accessible. \nWe'll also begin to build out your herbal first aid knowledge\, covering a handful of go-to plants worth having in your toolkit for cuts\, scrapes\, sore muscles\, and irritated skin. Then we'll make a wild herbal salve together — learning the process from infused oil to finished jar. Once you understand the method\, you can make salves for a dozen different uses depending on what your family needs. \nYou'll leave with a jar of wild salve\, practical first aid plant knowledge\, and the skills to keep making your own.
