Dinner with the Stars: February 18th

Elkstone farm provides a unique opportunity for stargazing because of its rural location and few surrounding lights.  Join us for an evening of exploring the stars with Professor Paul McCudden of Colorado Mountain College.  You will have an opportunity to look through telescopes at celestial phenomena, weather depending, as well as enjoy an indoor slide show with Professor McCudden regardless of the weather.  You will have the opportunity to enjoy a multi-course organic farm dinner prepared by Elkstone's chef, Russell Goodman, in the comfort of our beautiful greenhouse under the canopy of figs and citrus.

Just as our alpine setting makes for a special place to grow vegetables, our high elevation and light-free surroundings should provide a perfect backdrop for exploring the sky over Steamboat.   We eagerly hope you can come join us for a night of celestial exploration.
